"THE PHOTOGRAPHER"

Bio

I consider myself a serious amateur photographer. I have been taking pictures for over 40 years, and in addition to taking pictures for fun, I have done industrial / scientific documentation photography in support of my primary jobs. Lately, I have been documenting some of the collections for the Albuquerque Bio Park.

My primary interest is in all types of nature, but I also like taking pictures of things such as ghost towns, Native American ruins and rock art, as well as old cars and airplanes.

I am a charter member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). This is an organization formed to promote nature photography as a medium of communication for nature appreciation and environmental protection. I am also a member of the Albuquerque Enchanted Lens Camera Club, a very active local club.

My photos have won prizes in the American Photography Competition at the Hubbard Museum in Ruidoso NM, the Ritz Cameras 2002 National Photo Contest, the NM State Fair, as well as in many local contests. I have had photos published in newspapers, magazines, advertisements, and newsletters.
